How do I forget someone completely?

Open their page in People, choose Forget at the bottom, read what goes, and press Forget with their name. Everything about them is deleted, and only a one-way fingerprint of their email is kept.

Step by step

1. In People, use Look someone up to open their page.
2. At the bottom, choose Forget with their name.
3. Read what we delete and what we keep.
4. Press Forget with their name.

Good to know

• We delete their name, email, phone, visits, answers and history, and everyone in their care.
• Others in their household who have their own email stay, with the household.
• The fingerprint can’t be read back. It means no list you bring in can ever add them again.
• This one can’t be undone, so we ask first.
• If they’d like your emails one day, they can sign themselves up with your link.
