Why doesn’t Rebound count opens?

Phones and mail apps open emails on their own now, so an open count isn’t real. We count taps and answers instead, because those can only come from a person.

Good to know

• A tap means someone opened a link in your email or answered one of its buttons: a real sign they read it.
• Requests to book and visits from your records count too.
• Who’s a Reader and who’s Away comes from taps, answers, requests and visits, never opens.
• Results and How you compare use the same honest numbers.
