What does the health records switch do?

For a practice covered by HIPAA, it keeps every visit inside Rebound. Zapier is off for your business, and your booking software connects straight to Rebound instead, or you send its appointment report each week.

Step by step

  1. In Settings, under Your business, an owner turns on We keep health records, or bill insurance, and presses Save.
  2. Open People, Visits on their own, and connect Cliniko or Acuity, use your own direct address, or follow the guide for your software’s weekly report.

Good to know

  • Your Zapier key stops the moment it’s on, since Zapier can’t sign the agreement HIPAA asks for.
  • Only owners can change it, and each change is written to your business’s history.
  • Not sure if it applies to you? Ask whoever handles your billing.
  • Rebound reads only who came in, the kind of appointment and the day. Never notes, never anything about anyone’s care.
